Unlocking the Supernatural (Part 4)
Beloved,
”Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us. God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.”
◄ Psa. 67:5-7(KJV)
Congratulations and welcome to the last few days of May 2023.
Three weeks ago, we began a series titled: Unlocking the Supernatural, and so far in the series, we have explored the believer’s image from the mirror of God’s Word and we have established that the supernatural can be unlocked by the Power of the Word, the Power of Faith, the Power of the Holy Ghost; and the Power in the Name of Jesus. As we conclude the series, this week, I will like to say that as a believer, you are redeemed for unending progress (Pro. 4:18/2 Cor. 3:18), to command exploits (Gen. 12:1-3/Gen.22:17-18/Gal.3:29) and as a king to reign on the earth (Rev.5:9-10/1 Pet.2:9).
One of the keys that opens up the supernatural deposit in the believer is the weapon of praise. Amid praise, God manifests His fearful acts (Exo. 15:11/Psa. 67:5-7). At the place of praise, the supernatural is triggered (Acts 16:25-30/2 Chr. 20:22-24), and fresh oil which enhances our level of command of signs and wonders is released on us (Psa. 92:1-2/10-15/ Psa. 67:5-7)
Praise is the most significant reservoir of power the world has yet to see demonstrated. Praise changes relationships, hearts, and mindsets. In praise, our focus shifts from us to the Lord. From problems to The Solution, from pain to promise; and from hurt to hope. Praise suspends the laws of nature to deliver God’s plan and purpose to the believer (Romans 4:19-21/Exo. 14:16). Praise elevates us into God’s Presence and Power (Psalms 22:3), neutralizes the enemy (2 Chronicles 20:1-30); breaks chains and opens doors (Acts 16). Praise is a weapon of warfare.
It is easy to praise God when the sun is shining, the children are making good grades in school, and we have received a promotion at work. However, when the stormy clouds gather, the last thing on our minds may be praising God, yet, this is the very time when we need to lift our voices to Him in praise. When we praise God, we proclaim our faith in Him so as I sign off on this series, my prayer for you is that you will make a conscious effort to give God thanks and praise regardless of your perculiar circumstances because “If we will put our faith in Him and demonstrate that faith by praising Him, He will bring us through every situation to a place of victory.” (Hagin, 2022)
